if you refer to the teaser pic then i have to dissapoint you: i didn't skate them until the complete inner lining showed up,
after i finished skating them i cut them in 2 pieces to show what's inside, that's why the lining is visible....

Did you take a picture of the secret message on the shank? I've always wanted to see what it is.

Is there one on this Tre as well? IIRC Arizumi told about that in a Crooked Tongues interview around the time the P-Rod 2 was about to drop.

Here's the quote:

Quote

Were you behind the congratulatory message on the carbon fibre shank plate of the TRE telling the user they've managed to break such an advanced shoe? Is that intact on this model?

I thought it would be funny to acknowledge those who cut the shoe apart to find out the hidden secrets. When I worked at other shoe companies we would cut apart shoes that we were interested in finding out how the built the shoe as well as how it worked. I knew at some point someone somewhere would do that and I wanted to include a little inside joke. It also lists the key players involved in designing the shoe, one being the lead engineer here - Brian Linkfield.

okay i had a look at it and although i cut the plate in 2 pieces i can read it a bit...

it says:

"JARIZUMI 74213
BLINKFIELD _2110

Z_ A D 9-115# R_3"

The Letter i couldn't read because of glue stains are the ones i marked with "_".

okay this means James Arizumi, designer at nike sb
and B Linkfield, Nike employee as well.

but what are the numbers and the last line suppost to be?

Nice job my friend.
I'm pretty sure this will be the most popular skate site right behind The Berrics in the near future. =)

It seems like i have to post it in two pieces this time...everybody who read it so far to find misstakes
told me that 13 pages are too much to read it all at once ;-)

Expect the first part to be posted on thursday....
