Hat looks off.

The Adam Bomb gives it away. Notice the black outline around his fuse. It's EXTREMELY thick. Comparing it to the REAL embroidered fuse, it's much thinner.

Also, his eyeballs are a bit off; the black parts (pupil/reflection) inside the white parts are too large. The real embroidered one looks different.

The orange and yellow looks pale and off-color in comparison to the pictures I've seen. It'll be hard to get a true, honest legit check on this hat because there were only 100 of the mesh ones made, for Hong Kong only.

Other things that give it away, IMO:
-"the hundreds" embroidery on the front isn't properly lined up with the "subcrew" logo. The tip of S in hundreds should line up exactly with the right tip of the w in subcrew.
-the subcrew font looks a little too bold.
-the scratchiness, on some ends of the letters of "the hundreds" doesn't match the same scratchiness on the pictures i'm looking at.
-if you look at the inner adam bomb tag, you can see the outline of the back embroidery through the mesh. notice how it doesn't touch the material strip inside the hat. on the legit hat, it not only touches the strip, but extends a tiny bit inside of it.

Hope some of this helps! Keep on plugging away, if it's legit, it's a hell of a good find, yet I've seen a bazillion fakes of this hat, since it's so tough to get.

Can you actually take a picture of the inner adam bomb around the lining, but from a bit further away, so we can see the back embroidery through the mesh better? I want to make sure it does / doesn't line up like the legit one does.

again the seller told me he got from some boutique in HK but he doesnt know if it real or fake
so he accept to return my money n i need to ship him back the hat

If the guy is saying literally "oh, I got it from some boutique here in HK".... then obviously there's something wrong with that picture. Being that there were like 100 hats I believe, he should be able to remember where he got the hat.

Also, if it was a legit boutique, he should know if it's real. That's like me walking into Concepts and buying some blue lobsters and saying "whoa man, these are fake."

The positioning of the Adam Bomb alone looks fugazi, let alone the whole cleanliness of the stitching when viewing it from the inside out.


I'm honestly just going off of aesthetics and the guy's lack of knowledge about where he buys his own shit here.. but.. I'd honestly say it were fake.

-Some of the stitching looks shoddy
-The embroidery, when viewed from behind especially, looks off-location and shoddy
-Colors are very pale, not so vibrant (could be camera, lighting, etc. But still..)
-Font on the front of the hats don't line up, Subcrew logo font looks too fat, should be somewhat thinner
-Adam Bomb fuse is outlined too thick, should be a thinner black outline
-Reflection on left side of EMBROIDERED Adam Bomb on yours looks very thin compared to the real one (could be different materials)
-Shape of embroidered Adam Bomb's mouth is too wide, needs to be more tear-drop-ish
-Overall Adam Bomb looks too bulky, should be smaller
-Inner AB tag is also misshapen, eyes are off position, stitching looks shoddy
-Looking closely, the button at the top of the hat isn't DEAD center, it's actually a bit off, which is key in fakes.

-ALSO, referring to the pictures I posted above about the embroidery from the inside, do you see how, in the real one, there's a TAG poking out from the inner sweat band on the left hand side?There's none in your picture.




Just get your money back man, there's no need to take this any further. Unless he can give you a proof of receipt, date, and time when and where he bought it, he has no jurisdiction saying it's real or fake. Resellers need to step up their game, keep receipts and shit of EVERYTHING.. this way when stuff like this happens, you can't put blame on anyone.


Best of luck man, I'd say it's fake.
