Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you guys know that there is finally a legit consignment shop in the OC area. It's called "Footage" and it's run by the super ebay seller "coolshoeshine"

The place is really nice and has a great selection of shoes in all sizes. It's not the biggest place, but there is definitely a diverse selection. The consignment rates are really good too. They only charge 10% for in-store consignment and that includes a listing on Ebay with a BIN for no additional cost. They can also set up an ebay auction for you with a total 15% charge I believe.

Hope you guys check the place out, especially peeps in the 562/714 area.

check out: coolshoeshine.com for more information.

yah amin, it includes the EBAY BIN for free. He just has to make the price higher on ebay a bit to include all the fees. so like the shoes I dropped off will be $210 in-store and probably like $240-250 on ebay. You just tell him how much exactly you want to make after all the fees and he adjusts it for the in-store price and Ebay BIN. The other cool thing is that you can keep selling the shoes yourself like on the forums and if u sell it, it's only a $5 charge to take the shoes back from the store.

so wait, if you have a pair of shoes there that doesnt sell for four months and you decide to take them back, you have to pay $5.
basically my question is, no matter how long the shoes sit there if you decide to take them out you have to pay $5.
if so, thats weak.

yah most places charge a fee like that. I agree it should probably be free, but his rates r already super low. He also has to pay for the listing of the shoes on Ebay with the Buy-it-Now.

Actually most consignment store DONT charge a fee for removal after 2 weeks. This will not be a good selling point for a new store way in Brea.

Flight Club:
"Sellers may withdraw shoes at any time. There is a $10 surcharge per pair for any kicks withdrawn during the initial 14 days of consignment."

RIF/Napsize (LA and Tokyo):
i could not find a fee anywhere.

The Holy Grail (LA):
You may withdraw your items at any time. Their is a 5$ charge per pair for items withdrawn within the initial 14 days.

Air Traffic Control (Miami):
Sellers may withdraw items at any time, free of charge.

just a few...
hope this helps.

that's some good info. maybe if we let him know, he will drop the fee or take it out after 14 days.

Flight Club does take 20% off though from your selling price and Rif takes 15% off. Considering that u get the shoes listed on Ebay and footage's cut is only 10%, there is no question who has the better deal if the shoes do sell.

Hopefully u guys check it out. It's a dope shop with a very welcoming staff.

Sneakerfiles did a quick spotlight on the shop if ya'll are interested.

Yuuup this place is LEGIT.

Copped Pro B Oxides and Pro B Olives for $64 bucks each. Both VVVVNDS w\ OG everything.

Good prices, and the reason for the $5 charge is probably because they only take 10% as opposed to 15 or 20%, so they need a way to make a little extra money to make up for the low fee.
