Ever since i've been trying to find real 100% authentic tiff's i've noticed these key features on all REAL and FAKE Nike diamond supply sb dunks.... I hope this doesn't fall into the wrong hands and help the bad guys...lol

Oh well here are the comparison besides the obvious inside shoe tag and smooth croc skin... These shoes are both my shoes that i own... I have fake and real tiffany's... i got tricked and i hope to help other people not get as fooled as easily, since Nike SB forum helped me with open arms here is my contribution....
First is the lettering on the shoe lace bag itself, notice how the FAKEs looks painted on... and the real ones have nice, shiny, smooth lettering....

IPB Image
IPB Image

The Second thing to look for is the hole punch that the plastic tie goes through.. Notice how the FAKEs goes through the bag itself... The real lace bag has the hole punch through the zip lock opening portion of the bag... i have confirmed this by looking at all my real Nike SB shoe lace bags and all other dunk lace bags and noticed they all went through the zip lock opening portion of the bag...

IPB Image

The last thing to spot the FAKES are the front lacing area... The fakes are not colored aqua underneath the Croc skin... This one is easy to spot cause most sellers show the front of the Tiffany's.. Here are the pics to see what i'm talking about... I noticed this on very single 100% authentic Diamond dunks...

Hope this guide Helps you guys out !!!

Additional Info on Crocodile Skin - Tiffany Diamond

Legit

- Basically there are 2 types of croc skin leather used in tiffany i.e. toe box area (front) n other part of upper (rear)

- Texture line imprint of croc skin leather on toe box r shallow line n matt surface

- where else lace hole tab n back portion the croc leather skin texture r deeper n rougher by hand feel n noticeable with glossy effect.

- It would have different effect either in real or on photo pictures shoot – front with matt effect rear with reflection n glossy effect due to difference in texture line deep n shallow.

Fake

- All crocodile skin leather line imprint r the same (front n rear) on the shoes using the shallow line texture and are in smooth effect without the glossy surface.

Note the pictures below

Legit - Front n Rear Crocodile skin leather texture line

Dunk Hawaii, something I just noticed, these are the only things to look for right now

Real:
frosted clear sole
proper box tag on half sizes

IPB Image
IPB Image

Fake:
transparent clear sole
incorrect box tag on half sizes

As for the clear sole thing, thats pure speculation on my part, I just think thats a sign but it could just be the pics. Looks to me like there is definitely a difference, real pairs you cant really see the picture underneath. Anyone with an authentic pair care to comment?

TWEED HIGH & LOW

TWEED HIGH & LOW

LEGIT:
A) tweed pattern: the top and bottom piece should line up;
B ) the lace bag should be attached through the zip-loc/top part of the bag, not the pouch/middle part;
C) the lighter colored laces should be a tan, not a goldish color like the ones pictured:

The font on the box tag is way off on the fakes and the spaceing on the inside tag is very easy to spot.

How to spot Legit and Fake - OUTSOLE

Sorry for posting a lot of pictures on these topics as we need to see more pictures on comparison in order to make it easier in understanding.

Legit

- Nike, Swoosh Logo and “R” registered trade mark are same height with similar standing up effect from viewing and hand feel. The moulds injection on the tidy “R” needs a very high skill technology in moulding skill in order to make it stand up in 3D effects.

- [b]The “Grip Button” on the upper outsole should be rounded and sloping

Fake

- “R” registered trade mark very low and not as the same height as Nike and Swoosh Logo. It’s blurred and cannot see with photo shooting and on hand feel its flat with no 3D effect.

- The “Grip Button” is with edges and flat surface
.

Note: The pictures of the Nike and Swoosh Logo and “R” registered trademark on legit Outsoles - Triangle represent the arrow.

Zoom Air – Legit and Fake

Fake the workmanship for the zoom air sole is poor compare to the authentic one.

Legit

- Off white/yellowish transparent
- Very neat and clean no glue (use compression)
- Fit nicely without any gap
- Air button is almost in the middle

Fake

- More transparent
- Glue came out everywhere
- The space on the sole is bigger than the air zoom
- Normally the air button is in the middle (80%) or no air button at all

Note: The legit and Fake

2006 Dunk Tags

So far I've noticed a couple of differences between the fake and legit inner tags.

Quick Tip -

Legit HJ font size Larger than the production number with a parallel line on the top of the lettering with a gap on the bottom

Fake HJ Font same size and parallel with the production number and in a line on the bottom with no gap

1. The font is obviously off with the top number being close to the line on the fake ones and being far on the
legit ones.

2. The number under the bar code pretty much has its third number over the asterick.
This is just from the ones that I've seen. On the fake ones, you can tell that they are way off.
(please let me know if you see otherwise)

3. It's not circled, but I just noticed the date on the legit ones are far from the barcode, while the fakes are
close.

4. Another thing noticed is that the number size for US is centered under US for the fake ones, but staggered
on the legit ones (at least for the smaller sizes).

NOTE: please notify me if you notice anything different with other sizes, so it can be changed.
