Brief Description: Inspired by the heavy metal rock group Iron Maiden. The Dunk will feature a clear swoosh to show off the Iron Maiden artwork as well as the words Iron Maiden embroidered onto the heel of the shoe.

Iron Maiden is a very successful British heavy metal band whose works have sold over 60 millions albums worldwide. They were first formed in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris and have become one of the most influential bands in heavy metal music.

Rumors have it that they were given to the "workers" of Nike and Maiden family members.

There was this story of a pair that was put up for auction by one of the Nike workers, who have had received a pair. He had made some cash for the shoes but got fired shortly after from Nike when they had heard about it being sold.

Nike Commented on the shoes :- All your stuff is correct B53, these were made, and only 24 pairs were made. These were just made for fun, a lot of the guys mess around at SB and they just like to make some stuff once in a while because they can.. Why not right ? Well later on they were put on ebay and the person who put them on ebay worked for Nike in the SB department. They were found on ebay by Nike, and the account was linked to this man that got the shoes as a gift for working in SB.. He was later fired from the campus, and fined 1,000 dollars. He is also not eligable to get a job at Nike anywhere ever again.

Although what is not known is if the bidder actually recieved the shoes. I am very suprised you got your hands on this pair of shoes. It’s something truely special you’ve got there man. Take them and cherish them. (If they are authentic of course :-)

There are only about 24 pairs in existence in the world and there are no plans to release this shoe anytime soon…
