looking for new board

I need a new park board.  I really wanna get a box scratcher, but I dont wanna spend over 300.
Any suggestions on where to find cheap gear and/or good park boards is appreciated

Believe it or not but Craigslist is a great place to find new decks.

As far as a park deck recommendation: I've tried the box scratcher and honestly think there is better out there for much cheaper. It's pretty hard nowadays to find a brand new park deck for under 300 but I would definitely recommend a Skate Banana if you're a Lib fan. In my experience i've found the SB to handle much better in the park than a box scratcher. You can usually find past season's banana's for fairly cheap (~$250)

yea I was going back and forth with the skate banana. It doesn't have to be a lib tech, I just wanted a pure park board that can still hold an edge
Im riding a 155 DH2 right now, looking for a 147ish that I can really play around with

I have a forum destroyer with cartels. Thing slays park. Burton also discontinued forum so no decks are being made new after this year which means you might be able to find a good price. I also had a park pickle by gnu which I liked, but not as much as my forum

idk if I should go with the 148 or the 152..
My current setup is a 155 Ride DH2, which I plan on keeping and using for powder days
so the Forum is going to be a purely park board, and I want it to be noticeably smaller, idk if the 148 is too small tho
I'm about 5'11" 150lbs last time I checked

Hmmm I'd go with a 152. I have either a 156 or 157 and I'm 6'1" and about 180. I use mine for everything. The destroyer floats so well in powder as well as being able to maneuver for double blacks. I use mine as well for park just not all the time. I'd say go with the bigger size just so you could right other mountain as well without bringing two boards

so Ive been on the destroyer for 3 days now, got some new union flites to go on it
it was hella weird at first because Im not used to rockers at all but by the 3rd day I pretty much had it dialed in, only problem Im having is finding the sweet spot to pop off lips.. im used to just loading up on the nose or tail but Im not getting enough pop like that with the rocker
bottom line is I love it tho and Im really glad I got a new forum before theyre discontinued

good to hear that you like the forum. ya, the loading on rockers is different but glad you like it. i went back to traditional camber b/c of the instant pop. couldnt ride any rocker or non traditional.

so back to gear if you need more. ussualy no tax and free ship. also SBs are here in some of these online shops.

Yeah really glad you like it. nice thing about rocker to besides boxes and rails is it will float on powder as well. Once you get jumps dialed in you won't want to switch ever!
