in the interview there was no mention of a brian anderson shoe. just the p-rods, janoskis, and these.

bruins are crap, but i hope omar will bring out some justice for his model.

i don't know why he'd want his own, from what i know he really digs blazers. that's all i've ever seen on his feet besides veronas.

i never aid that they mentioned it in the interview. i have heard from various sources that a shoe might be in the works for BA.

a friend i have thats is in charge of SB in the shop, had told there its going to be sort of like a hybrid between the harbor and the classic, not to sure if its those two but there coming out with something like that

theres a harbor/blazer hybrid coming out, which is prolly what he was talking about. i'm excited for this though, omar is a ripper and i expect something grippy and slim. can't wait for some pics to surface.

I def think he deserves a shoe, but so does damn near everybody else on the team. The cool thing about nike sb, for me at least, is that every fuckin dude on the team didn't get his own shoe like every other skate shoe company. I wonder if eventually they will start losing talent because, like I said, most dudes on that team deserve there own shoe but no company can suport a line with 12(or whatever) pro models, plus dunks, plus blazers. Then eventually you run into "why does this guy get a shoe and not me?" Slippery slope for sure

You're wrong. That's the very reason why people w/ talent will continue to want to skate for Nike. B/c not every single dude that could land a kickflip is guaranteed to get a shoe. And those other, less prominent, companies most likely guarantee their skaters a shoe, which would be stupid.

^^^^ I don't know if your getting me or not. Do you think omar deserves a shoe over brian? I sure don't. Either way now you have a guy just as talented and prominent not getting a shoe while the guy next to him does. He's just one of the many examples on the sb team. I realize that nike didn't promise everybody a pro model but that isn't gonna matter when at the end of the day some guys have pro models and others don't. I think you could make an argument for most of the team to have a pro model. P-rod is on a whole different level of fame than the rest of the team so his shoe makes sense, other than that i say stick to the handful of models you already have and give these guys there own colorway or something to calm their egos

I've said it once & I'll say if forever. GINO IANNUCCI NEEDS A PRO SHOE! Nike needs another indoor soccer-based skate shoe anyway. I tried on a pair of Abingtons last week and they feel amazing. Great board feel and nice shape.

I feel like Nike is just trying to be "cool" and trying to appeal to kids by giving shoes to the lesser-known, newer skaters (Janoski + Salazar over BA+Gino) but it's just stupid I think. I mean yeah, I guess Janoski deserves a shoe... but Omar Salazar over B.A. and Gino? I really have no idea. I don't get it. Maybe it's because it's been Omar has done a lot more *recently* compared to B.A. and Gino, who are solid but have been around forever and haven't really done anything groundbreaking in a while.

Lots of work must go into developing a pro model and maybe ginos got other things going on right now such as his skateshop that he'd rather put his efforts towards. i dont think that just because they arent getting a pro model yet, nike is ignoring their veterans. but hey the minute gino does get a shoe ill be the first in line to buy!

As much a I like ginos skating, he will never get a shoe from nike anymore. maybe a pro colorway or a bit more like the lance mountan blazer project.

You have just to keep in mind that in the end it's a business.You cant sell shoes of a pro that doesn't get coverage!

Janoski gets a shoe because he had like 3 video parts in the last 3 years and almost one pic per month in a magazine.

In my opinion omar doesn't deserve a shoe (yet). But face it, ginos days are over, as hard as it sounds.He will have 5, maybe if we are lucky 10 tricks

in the chocolate vid and will more or less retire afterwards.
